Hackney Canal Project
The 4th Cif Community Clean-up took place along an area of the Hackney canal which was crying out for some ‘beautification’! The walls are filled with graffiti, the weeds are overgrown, and litter is scattered across the canal and pathways.
Cif teamed up with the ‘Canal Rewilding Project’ group for a litter pick, wall clean and weed clearing to restore the beauty of this much-used walkway. This restoration project will have a positive impact on the 5,000 people who pass-by and live in the area surrounding the canal.
